How is a courier parcel box kept cold?
On the cart (shopping basket) page of the checkout, you can opt to upgrade your shipping box to a polystyrene box, lined with wool insulated sheets, and packed with ice. We require that the customer order this box for courier shipping of quick frozen (unaged, low histamine) meat and all frozen meat products. We cannot courier unaged quick frozen meat unless it is packed in a polystyrene box.
The alternative (standard) shipping box is a biodegradable corrugated cardboard box lined with a plastic barrier then lined with a wool insulated sheets and packed with ice. This is not suitable for the shipment of quick frozen, unaged meat.
